The game in question involved you starting off with 4 horses at the beginning of the season. You had to choose feeding costs and had the opportunity to buy more horses.
For each ‘racing day’ there were 3 races, you could enter your horses and pick the jockeys, then enter race tactics, hold back, lead from front and normal.
The race itself was shown on a rolling screen, with a side view and you followed the lead horses.
