I usually play games on PC and have been doing so for some time now but I want to get a console as well. I play a variety of games but mainly: Racing, FPS and GTA.
I can’t however stand playing FPS on any console because it is just to clumsy and is much easier on PC. With GTA 4 coming out at the end of the month. It should come into play a fair bit with my decision. I don’t care about episodic content for the Xbox 360 version as i have most fun with pony farming around the city.
Since I only own SD TV’s I will be playing on a 22" Wide screen PC monitor mostly. I have yet to get fully used to the Xbox style controllers but played a lot of PSX and PS2 and am used to Sony’s controller. For racing games I will probably be getting a Logitech G25 sometime in the near future (is it compatible with the 360?)
I’d also like to add that the price of the console does not matter to me but if it comes down to just online gaming PS3 will win because it is free.
Which console suites me best?
I’m pretty sure you should get a PS3 because of these following reasons:
1. You said you can’t stay playing w/ controllers on a console. Well, the PS3 can use a keyboard and mouse b/c it has bluetooth. Therefore you don’t HAVE to use a controller.
2. Since you’re better used to PS’s controller then it’ll probably do you better good.
3. I’m not sure if the Gran Turismo wheel will work for other racing games. Maybe the SIXAXIS will work.
4. You mentioned free online service.
The 360 shares games with PC and PS3 especially the shooters. (ex. Bioshock, Gears of War, COD4) Besides, the 360 wastes a lot of money. You have to buy the pricely hardwares like the wireless adapter just to go online wirelessly, then when you’re online you’ll be charged for your membership on Xbox Live. The PS3 and 360 has vibration controllers, but the 360 doesn’t have SIXAXIS. High failure rate also for 360.

Need suggestions for Wii and Ds Games to get.?
Hello, I’ve been a Nintendo fan for about 10 years now. I got a Nintendo Ds since the release date a couple of years ago and used to play it all the time. Same with my Wii.
But i started to play Online on the xbox and the Playstation and preferred it. The graphics and the online play really made me switch over.
Although, sometimes they can get abit boring and you don’t want to play just shooting games etc, but something that requires abit more thinking or exploring and something i can play with my family/friends.
So i’m looking for a game to play for on the Ds and Wii. I don’t mind any genre except Cooking Mama or My Pony island or something.
